The system includes an realtime CPU, Rack-Mount Chassis, Ethernet bus, and Rack-Mount display and keyboard. Rugged, shock-proof cases allow the system to be moved safely from place to place as the need arises. Additional modules, each in its own case, provide greater flexibility in configuring and re-configuring the system.

CyFlex CyFlex software and operating system is pre-installed. The modular architecture of the CyFlex system allows the system to be applied to test and measurement systems that range from small, simple tests managing several parameters to very large, complex tests involving hundreds of real-time measurements.  For more information on CyFlex software, the following pdf files are available:

IO Modules

Additional I/O can be added to accommodate more sensors or other instrumentation. Shown here is a rack-mounted I/O "Pony" module in the same shock-mounted, cases as the CyFlex-RA module. Inside, OPTO22 SnapI/O allows for the configuration of the module which may me located closer to the test article. These additional I/O modules allow the system to be reconfigured to meet new testing situations very quickly and efficiently.

Physical

The CyFlex-RA system is approximately a 24" cube and weighs less than 90 pounds.  It is mounted on removable casters so it can be easily moved from one location to another.
